SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Thurs., Sept. 24th 1500 After check-in at hotel, Happy Hour & Check in for Reunion in meeting room (Ready Room) 1500 pm till? Our meeting room, with refreshments, just for our group to get together during the reunion to share sea stories and pictures is ours until checkout on Sunday.
Fri., Sept 25th 0930 We departure on a motor coach to transport us to the Fort Worth Stockyard for some time on our own to visit the Stockyards Museum, the John Wayne Museum, or just do some shopping until 11:30 am when the cattle drive starts. After the drive, we meet up for a group lunch at a restaurant in the Stockyard. After lunch, we’ll do a quick guided walking tour of the Stockyards, then back on our motor coach with our guide for a tour of old town Fort Worth, the JFK Tribute Memorial, and the Water Gardens. We stop by a Marine owned brewery for a brewery tour before returning to our hotel about 1700
1800 TexMex meal in our Ready Room back at our hotel
1900 Business meeting in our Ready Room – ALL are encouraged to attend as we vote on the 2028 and future reunion locations, board positions, and present financials & minutes.
Sat., Sept 26th 0930 We start our day on a motor coach on our way to Arlington TX for a celebration of the human spirit, the National Medal of Honor Museum honors the inspiring lives and legacies of ordinary Americans who took extraordinary action in the service of others. Our visit includes a one-hour guided tour with expert insights, timed entry to avoid crowds, and deeper access to the stories of Medal of Honor Recipients. After our VIP tour, we’ll have time on our own to review the exhibits or grab some lunch at the museum snack bar on our own. We return to our hotel about 1430 to get ready for our banquet that evening.
Sat., Sept 26th 1730 – Cash bar opens at our Banquet in the at our hotel.
